Exploring Toulouse, France Alone for the First Time Since Getting Sick

After 6 Years of Being too Sick to Travel I Finally Explored France Alone

Victory! A painful victory but nonetheless, it was a victory.

Another day, another milestone, and one more step in the right direction towards making a full recovery from POTS Syndrome along with a whole slew of other chronic health conditions.

It feels good, and bad, all at the same time. (If that makes any sense. haha.)

Let’s just say hitting new milestones is not what I imagined it would be. I had no idea how much it would take out of me to accomplish new feats, but at the end of the day, it is just the price I am going to have to keep paying in order to make a full recovery.

Onward.

(Side note – it is 10 pm as I am writing this. I haven’t slept in over 24 hours and counting. The lack of sleep used to cripple me but now I can work while I have insomnia! It really does feel good. I’ll take any win I can get)
